This grant is specifically for “innovative programs or non-degree research projects that promote education and equity for women and girls” (Nonprofit Times). This is a great opportunity to receive funding for a program your business may be creating regarding education but are lacking the necessary funds. It is important to promote education because people, children more specifically, need to know that education is important. The one thing that cannot be taken from you is your knowledge, so it’s best to learn as much as possible. Adults should be aware of the importance of education also because they should instill that value in children to want to gain an education to better themselves. The phrase “know better, do better” applies strongly in this situation. If people know better, people should do better; therefore, it is imperative that everyone value education to a great extent. Another grant that the Nonprofit Times is offering is titled American Honda Foundation Grants. This grant is focused on the youth but more specifically their education.
